2024 NFL Schedule Release: Who Came Out on Top and Who Fell Short, Ranking the Top Revenge Games

The NFL schedule for the 2024 season was released last night, and fans and analysts alike are buzzing with excitement. With 272 games to look forward to, there is no shortage of matchups to dissect and analyze.

They discussed the slate of holiday games, with each host picking their favorite Thanksgiving matchup. Meanwhile, CBS Sports expert Will Brinson ranked the top revenge games on the schedule. The Chiefs at 49ers matchup in Week 7 topped his list, followed by Steelers at Broncos in Week 2 and Ravens at Chargers in Week 12.

Additionally, a breakdown of each team’s schedule revealed one positive and one negative aspect for teams like the Steelers, Chargers, and Lions. The Steelers have a favorable start but a tough stretch later in the season, while the Chargers face a challenging lineup of opponents in the middle of their schedule.

In terms of winners and losers from the schedule release, Jets fans, Caleb Williams, and the Eagles were among the winners, while the Ravens, Jaguars, and the scheduling of weekday games were considered losers.

Netflix made headlines by winning the rights to stream two key Christmas games and signing a three-year deal with the NFL. They also announced a documentary on Jerry Jones and a new series featuring NFL stars.

Lastly, the Giants unveiled a new alternate uniform and will be featured on a new version of ‘Hard Knocks.’ Steelers star Cam Heyward is sitting out OTAs in search of a contract extension, and JJ Watt shared insights on what players look for in the schedule.
