Taylor Swift Handles Wardrobe Malfunction with Grace During Stockholm Show
During her recent Eras Tour show in Stockholm, Sweden, pop sensation Taylor Swift encountered a minor wardrobe malfunction that left fans in stitches. A viral TikTok video captured the moment when Swift, in her blue Roberto Cavalli wrap dress, had to adjust her outfit between songs.
In the video, Swift can be seen humorously instructing the crowd to “just talk among yourselves” as she revealed a sparkling gold bra top underneath her dress, part of her outfit for The Tortured Poets Department section of the show. An attendee remarked in the clip, “I thought she was taking off her dress,” as a crew member swiftly came onstage to assist the singer.
Fans were quick to praise Swift for how she handled the situation, with one commenting, “100% Human. love it! 💕💕💕,” and another noting, “I like how She handles It so calmly 🥰♥️.” After her dress was secured, Swift returned to the piano and performed “How Did It End?”, a new track from her latest album.
This isn’t the first wardrobe issue Swift has faced on the Eras Tour. In a show in Rio de Janeiro in November 2023, the heel of her bejeweled Christian Louboutin boot broke during the Lover segment, prompting Swift to playfully toss the broken heel into the crowd. Additionally, in April of last year, Swift’s garter snapped during a performance of “Lavender Haze,” turning the mishap into a humorous moment.
Despite these wardrobe mishaps, Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, continues to dominate the charts, claiming the top spot on the Billboard 200 album charts for the fourth consecutive week. This marks Swift’s sixth album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts out of her 11 releases, solidifying her status as a music industry powerhouse.
Fans have affectionately dubbed the tour the “Errors Tour” due to these recurring incidents, but Swift’s ability to handle these mishaps with grace and humor only endears her to her loyal fan base even more.
